Parking Options at Honolulu International Airport

All travelers can find easy and convenient parking facilities at Honolulu Airport. The parking areas at the airport is a nice location that gives travelers direct access to the airport terminals within a short time. The convenient location will help passengers save time before their next flight.

At the airport, travelers will find a wide selection of parking options including the international parking garage, Terminal 2 parking garage, Terminal 1 parking garage as well as bicycle and motorcycle parking.

Terminal 2 Parking Garage

This parking garage is located directly across from Terminal 2 at the airport. For passengers to enter, please proceed to the second level of the Airport Access Road, directly across from the Administration Tower. The Terminal 2 parking garage is five stories tall. Walkways are provided on the fourth level of the parking garage at both ends and in the middle for passenger access to Terminal 2.

There is a 30-day parking limit at this garage and it is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and has a total of 1,570 parking spaces available.

Terminal 1 Parking Garage

Terminal 1 parking garage is located adjacent to Terminal 1. For travelers to access please continue to the ground or second level of the Airport Access Road. The Terminal 1 Garage is seven stories tall and provides more than 1,780 parking spaces. There is a 30-day parking limit. The parking lot is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

If the Terminal 1 Parking Garage is full, drivers may proceed to the top level where a bridge to the International Parking Garage is located. Here you will find an additional 1,800 spaces available in the International parking garage.

International Parking Garage

This is located on the ground level, directly across from the International Arrivals. The building offers 1,800 parking spaces and is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. There is a 30-day parking limit. Travelers can find a walkway to Terminal 1 on the top of the structure that links with International Arrivals or Terminal 2.

Handicapped Parking

Vehicles with a valid disability card can park in one of the marked parking spaces available in all parking structures. You can find these at the following locations:

• In the International Parking Garage, accessible spaces are located on the ground level of the structure.
• In Terminal 2 Parking Garage, accessible spaces are located at each end of each floor and on the ground level of the structure.
• In Terminal 1 Parking Garage, accessible spaces are located near the elevators on each floor, at the center and each end of the structure.

Cash or any major credit card are acceptable forms of payment. No checks accepted. If you have lost your parking ticket, there is a minimum charge per every 24 hours of $18.00. Monthly parking costs $300 per month with parking located on the fourth floor of the Inter-island Terminal Parking Garage. There is a 30-day parking limit at all parking lots.

Drop-off and pick-up of passengers at Honolulu International Airport

All visitors at Honolulu Airport can find easily accessible drop-off and pick-up areas. Drop off areas can be found outside the passenger terminals of the airport.

Drivers that want to pick up arriving passengers should wait in the Cellular Telephone Waiting areas. When your passengers have collected their luggage, exited the baggage claim area, and are waiting at the curb they can call you on your cell phone. Then you can proceed directly to the curbside pickup area. By using the Cellular Telephone Waiting areas, you don’t have to drive around and around the terminal while waiting for your visitors.

At the Cell Phone Waiting area, there is a maximum waiting time of 60 minutes. The driver must stay inside their vehicle while waiting. Unattended vehicles will be cited and towed.

Two cell phone waiting areas are available at the airport:

• Diamond Head Cell Phone Area is located on Aolele Street, near the intersection with Lagoon Drive.
• Ewa Cell Phone Waiting Area is located on Service Road A near the Airport Post Office (intersection of Nimitz Highway and Aolele Street).
