NATIONAL Car Rental at Honolulu Airport

Once you have collected your baggage from the Honolulu Airport baggage claim area, please follow the signage to the exits.

Passengers coming from baggage claims E, F, G, and H should exit the building and follow the blue Rental Car Facility signs outside. Please cross over to the Rental Car Facility. The National rental counter is located on the ground floor.

Passengers coming from all other baggage claims (including Hawaiian) should exit the baggage claim area and proceed to the center median (follow Rental Car Center Shuttle signs). Please board the Rental Car Center Shuttle. Once you arrive at the Rental Car Center, please proceed to the National rental counter, which is on the ground floor.

National ask all customers to please proceed to the service counter to receive your rental agreement and keys for your vehicle.

Renter Requirements from National Car Rental at Honolulu Airport

It is necessary that all renters (and any potential additional drivers) have a valid driver’s license. National accepts driver's licenses from any state in the United States, from any province of Canadian, and from an international country. However, please note that driver’s licenses from outside the United States or Canada may also require an international driver's permit.
